Location and Times

Scott teaches all brass instruments, except french horn, from his home studio on Bilgola Plateau.

Maximising Your Learning Experience

Scott’s teaching schedule is prioritised for students who commit to establishing a regular practice routine.  If a student rarely practices, they will receive marginal benefit from lessons.  Parents are asked to actively encourage their children to spend time with their instrument at home to re-enforce what they were taught in the previous lesson.

Parents are encouraged to attend lessons, enabling you to reinforce key learnings at home effectively.

Lesson Fees

Lesson fees are based on the time allocated for an entire school term at $52 + GST per half-hour.  Fees are payable in advance of each term via direct bank deposit.

Missed Lessons

Like most activities, if a student is unable to attend a lesson scheduling a make-up lesson won’t be possible since all available teaching time is fully allocated.  Like most other activities, no credits or refunds will be issued if a student misses a lesson.  As a courtesy, if your child won’t be attending any of their lessons, we request you let us know as early as possible.

If Scott is unable to attend a lesson you will receive a lesson credit for the missed lesson against the cost of the next term, or a refund via bank deposit, whichever you prefer.
